Can I reserve $8.50 Founders pricing during beta?

Yes. The first 250 Founders allocations can be secured during the free beta. Your $8.50/month Founders subscription begins after beta ends; you do not pay a CAD subscription fee during beta.

Can I buy the monthly or perpetual license before release?

No. Standard $19.99/month CAD subscriptions and $199 perpetual licenses go on sale after the beta period ends. TalonPCB is free to use during beta, and only the limited Founders rate can be reserved before release.

What happens when 250 memberships are sold?

The Founders offer closes permanently. No new Founders memberships will be created, and cancellations never reopen a spot.

Can I cancel and return later at $8.50?

No. The locked-in rate ends permanently when your subscription is canceled or lapses. Returning customers can select only the standard plans available at that time.

Can the Founders price increase?

Your $8.50 monthly CAD subscription price stays the same for as long as your original subscription remains continuously active. Hosted AI usage is billed separately.

Is the monthly plan less capable than the perpetual license?

No. Both provide the full core desktop CAD features, including MCP integration, the 3D viewer, 32 copper layers and both UI modes. The difference is subscription versus perpetual licensing and how ongoing upgrades are handled.
